Sacramental preparation for all ages
Baptism
To receive the Sacrament of Baptism, at least one of the parents must be Roman Catholic and a registered, active parishioner at St. Matthias for at least 3 months. If you have not attended a baptismal class before, you will be scheduled for one session at a mutually convenient time. Godparent sponsor forms will also need to be completed and returned before the baptismal day is scheduled.
Baptisms are held on the first Sunday of every month, except during Lent or when the church has been scheduled for another event.
Marriage
To receive the Sacrament of Marriage, at least one of the parties seeking to be married must be Roman Catholic and a registered, active parishioner at St. Matthias for at least 3 months. The church is available for weddings on Friday evenings and Saturday afternoons. Other days and times can be discussed. Wedding dates will not be available during Lent or when the church is scheduled for another event.
Please contact our staff at least six months before the desired wedding date to set up an appointment to meet with Fr. Jim Wozniak.
