If you are thinking of becoming Catholic, Congratulations! This decision will start the journey of a lifetime, to know our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, more fully and deeply.
To become Catholic one goes through the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) or the Rite of Christian Initiation of Children (RCIC) program. Each program provides a series of meetings that help you discern and learn about your faith through spiritual and educational opportunities. At St. Matthias, the RCIA & RCIC programs begin in the Fall and meet weekly until the candidates join the Church at Easter Vigil in the Spring.
